After another delicious english breakfast, the
Z-Club-Green-Dream-Team went by car from
Walsall to the Stafford showground quite early in order to overcome the enormous annuall traffic jams heading to the show.
On the other hand we had to queue with many visitors at the entrance gate.
Since is was quite cold so early, we first visited the halls and dropped the
T-Shirts and other items at the booth of the
Z1OC Stand.
Thanky to Jerry, his wife and all others for distributing all items amoung the
visitors.
After that we strolled through the fair where
many clubs had their bikes on display, amoung them
the GPZ900R friends.
Outside in the show ground the latest EC-confrom creations of protection
helmets have been presented along with lots of other bits and pieces as well as many bikes.
Only a few Kwakers and even much more less Kawasaki parts could have been spotted.
Obivously Dani was very delighted about the quality offered.
Also you were able to find some tuning items.
After the show late the in evening, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) took place.
As a member of the Z1OC I was happy to be invited to participate.
Various items have been discussed rapildy and it was agreed to hold a
rally in 2013 for sake of 25 years of Z1OC. We will promote and support
the rally in order to attract as many bikers a possible.
Chris highlighted the fact, that he has learned, that the Z-Scene all over
Europe is a huge famliy with the same spirit end entuthiasam around their Z-Bikes.
Chris then has booked two taxis to take us and some friends from
Norway to a
Kashmiri Restaurant.
On site every thing hot and spicy was avaibale on the menu card. Since I was the driver,
I ordered a sweet Lassie. The others took care of the booze along with the Norwegians who set pace
followed by our english friends. Dani & Ralph had some problems to keep up, but did quite well
and had a lot of fun. Back at the Spitfire we took a photo and waved us good bye.
